Guarantee
Though bottles not filled to the top, you get every ounce paid for, guaranteed*. If you feel there is an error with your order such as you didn’t get the full 2/4/8/16 ounces you paid for or you were sent the wrong item: 1) Take a photo of the item before opening or using with the seals still in tact (so we can see how it arrived) and; 2) You must contact us within 7 days of delivery of your order. Opening the outer seal or sending pictures after product has been used makes this guarantee null and void.
*The guarantee: If product arrives with product missing and the item has been proven not to have been opened or used, we will refund you a prorated purchase price for the amount of product that is missing. So item arrives with 2 ounces missing, we will refund you in the amount of the purchase price of 2 ounces of that product.
Why aren’t the bottles filled to the top?:
The type of bottles and jars we use are not designed to be filled to the top. They are stock bottles that are used for a variety of different applications, and all kinds of dip-tubes, droppers, sprayers and other apparatus fit them. It is because of that that the engineers designed these bottles/jars/etc. to hold more than 16 ounces (or 2 or 4 or 8 ounces, etc.) when filled to the top. This is so that you can get the full “X” ounces in the bottle, and still have room for whatever dispensing apparatus or cap you want to put on the bottle – otherwise, if filled to the top, once you try to put the dip tube in, the contents would spill out of the bottle.
On the style of bottles we use (Boston Round) the full amount of ounces falls at right about where the straight part of the bottle starts to curve in toward the top of the bottle. If your item is filled to this point, you have every drop you paid for. If however, it is lower than that point, then you may be lacking. Most of the time, we put in a little extra so it goes over that line, so if you have ordered in the past and it was past that line then you got some free product 🙂
