Jamaican Black Castor oil is known the world over for promoting growth, promoting length retention and nurture hair edges. Our version is an exclusive recipe and contains beneficial natural additives not found in other brands you may find in stores. It has a pure, Jamaican Black castor oil base- not made with fillers such as soybean oil, which store brands use to dilute the oil so that they are cheaper to make. This oil can be used on all hair types and races, just be cognizant that those with oily hair and scalp may find the oil a little thick in viscosity.

What makes our blend so special? You won’t find another Jamaican Black Castor oil (JBCO) exactly like ours as far as the amount and kind of ingredients included. Also, after massaging just a quarter-sized amount of this oil into the scalp, users can actually feel a mild tingling there.

We offer 5 different varieties of this “wonder oil”:

Regular: Plain with no essential oils added
Lavender Essential oil- Lavender E.O. may be helpful with regard to dry scalp, deep conditioning the hair and keeping hair shiny- does not completely change the natural scent of this oil, meaning it does not completely smell like lavender due to the stronger scent of the other ingredients, but you will get the hair and scalp benefits from the lavender oil in it.
Peppermint Essential Oil- Peppermint E.O. is said to combat dry hair and promote growth. – does not completely change the natural scent of this oil, but you will get the benefits from the peppermint oil in it.
Dry Hair Formula- This is our powerhouse blend of 8 essential oils that contains sandalwood, frankincense, lavender, neroli, ylang ylang, geranium, palmarosa and yarrow that work in concert to help combat dry, thirsty hair. Does not completely change the natural scent of this oil, but you will get the benefits from the essential oil blend in it.
Grade B: This is made from an encore maceration of our herbs (all other varieties come from the first pressing). We have also added olive oil to make the finished oil more affordable, albeit less potent than our regular or “Grade A” version of this oil. At this time, Grade B is only available in regular.

How to use:
For best results, use daily by massaging into the scalp, lubricating the ends of hair as needed. Even better results can be achieved when using in conjunction with GHE (the greenhouse effect) or the inversion (Power Growth) method. Instructions on how to do these methods will be included with your order*. Just be aware that this and all oils can stain clothing if it accidentally drips on clothing, so it’s best to apply the oil before you get dressed. You may also choose to put the oil on before bed and wash out in the morning, or leave it in for up to one week.

Specs:
This is a thick oil with a bit of a sulfuric/allium scent (if regular/unscented). The Lavender formula contains a small amount of GELATIN, so if you are vegan or otherwise wish to avoid pork products, this may not be for you. It isn’t super yummy smelling, but that is because it is powerful and extremely concentrated; just chock full of things to help boost healthy growth. It comes in a plastic bottle with an oil applicator tip. The oil appears dark brown-black, but is actually naturally yellowish/brown in color. May slightly stain extremely light-colored hair (white or platinum blonde).

*All bottles contain 4 fluid ounces, so you will get every drop you paid for, even though bottle will not be filled to the very top.

A Little Goes A Long Way:
If you apply it to your scalp only, one 4 oz bottle can last approximately 2-3 months. This product when used regularly and over time, promotes noticeably stronger, more beautiful hair.

So how long will it take to work?
That depends on the type and condition of your hair, state of health, diet, etc. (see our FAQ’s for more info). Most users begin to see results within 2-3 months of everyday use. Some users though, have begun to see results within the first few weeks.
