Recommended use: part hair and spritz directly onto to the scalp once daily, then massage in for 1-3 minutes. Use one spritz per affected area, or 6-8 spritzes maximum spread out at various points on scalp and massage into entire scalp. You may wash out daily or leave for up to one week maximum before washing out.

Why a preservative?: a preservative is an absolute MUST in a formula with herbs and water, as herbs are notorious for growing mold in water without a preservative and it would only hold up for about 3 days maximum refrigerated without a preservative. The preservative allows the product to be shelf stable so that you may safely use your product.
Specs: The substance is a translucent deep golden yellow to brown color (it will darken over time). The smell is herbaceous, slightly pungent and characteristic of the herbs it is made from. This listing is for your choice of a 2 or 4 ounce glass or plastic spray bottle. We ship glass to U.S. addresses only; we do not ship glass outside of the U.S. because of the greater risk of breakage and the elevated cost of shipping glass which is somewhat heavier than plastic. A Little Goes A Long Way: If you apply it to your scalp only, one 4 oz bottle can last approximately 2-3 months. Over time and with regular use, you may see noticeably more lustrous hair.
So how long will it take to work? That depends on the type and condition of your hair, state of health, diet, etc. (see our FAQ's for more info). Some users notice results within a few weeks. Other users see results within 2-3 months of everyday use. **Individual results may vary.
