Botanical Blend is created by infusing the following ingredients:

FO & F.O. = Fragrance Oil

Directions: Shake well; spray onto clean, freshly washed hair. Lightly massage into scalp, then cover hair with a cap for 10 minutes. Next, rinse rice water completely off of hair/scalp and style as desired. Recommended frequency of use: one time per week.

Why a preservative?
A preservative is an absolute MUST in a formula with herbs and water, as herbs are notorious for growing mold in water without a preservative and it would only hold up for about 3 days maximum refrigerated without a preservative. The preservative allows the product to be shelf stable so that you may safely use your product.

Specs:
Look: The substance is a translucent, milky white or off-white color (it may darken slightly over time). The Regular Unscented (not pictured here) will be a lot clearer, less milky looking and very translucent.
Scent: (Regular) The smell is slightly sour and characteristic of fermented rice, but may also contain a touch of sweetness and be mildly herbal, depending on the formula you choose.
Scent: (Scented) Fragranced Rice water out of the bottle- you will still smell a bit of the "ferment" scent, which will fade over time as it evaporates, leaving behind more of the fragrance. So try not to judge the smell until you have given it time to evaporate a bit. Fragrance will depend upon the one you choose, but generally fragrance/parfum is going to be much stronger/more noticeable than natural fragrance. Natural fragrance compounds used have a bit of a "powdery" after-scent.
Packaging: This listing is for one 4 ounce plastic spray bottle.
Shelf Life: Good for use for up to 2 months after being received.

A Little Goes A Long Way:
If you apply it to your scalp only, one 4 oz bottle can last approximately 2-3 months. Over time and with regular use, you may see noticeably more lustrous hair.
So how long will it take to work?
That depends on the type and condition of your hair, state of health, diet, etc. (see our FAQ's for more info). Some users notice results within a few weeks. Other users see results within 2-3 months of everyday use.
