EDGE GENESIS FENUGREEK HERBAL HAIR JELLY
This rich herbal hair and scalp jelly is made with Fenugreek, Stinging Nettle, Ginger, Lavender, Chamomile and Shea Butter in a thick castor-based formula.
Edge Genesis has a rich, emollient consistency similar to a salve, ointment or traditional hair grease. It can be applied to the edges, scalp or hair and is especially suited to customers who prefer a thick, coating hairdressing rather than a liquid oil.
The concentrated formula can be incorporated into your regular hair and scalp-care routine, used on the lengths and ends, or used as a pre-shampoo treatment.

THICK, RICH CASTOR-BASED FORMULA
This product has a texture similar to petroleum jelly, but does not contain petroleum jelly.
Instead, the jelly base is made with Castor Oil, Hydrogenated Castor Oil and Carnauba Wax, with Shea Butter and our botanical ingredients incorporated throughout.
The result is a thick, concentrated hairdressing that stays where you apply it rather than running or dripping like a traditional liquid hair oil.
A little goes a long way.
PLEASE NOTE FOR LOW-POROSITY HAIR
Due to the thick and coating nature of this product, it is not recommended for hair that is easily weighed down or generally does not respond well to rich oils, waxes and butters.
If your hair generally prefers lightweight products, one of our lighter botanical oils or water-based formulas may be a better fit.
HOW TO USE
Apply a small amount to your fingertips. A little goes a long way, so start with less than you think you need.
Massage a small amount into the scalp or desired areas using the pads of your fingertips for approximately 2 to 3 minutes.
You may also apply a small amount directly to the hair, particularly the lengths and ends.
If desired, gently distribute the product through the hair with your fingers, brush or comb according to your normal styling routine.
AS A PRE-SHAMPOO HAIR TREATMENT
A small amount may also be applied to the hair, concentrating particularly on the lengths and ends, before shampooing.
Because this is a very rich formula, approximately a quarter-sized amount may be sufficient depending on your hair’s length and density. Using excessive amounts may make the product more difficult to shampoo out completely.
Cleanse your hair and scalp regularly according to your normal hair-care routine to help prevent excessive product buildup.

Small pieces or particles of herbs and botanicals may be visible throughout the product. This is normal.
Scent: Semi-strong, herbaceous, mildly sweet and smoky with aromas characteristic of Fenugreek, Castor Oil, Lavender and Carnauba Wax.
Scent and color may vary slightly from batch to batch because of the botanical ingredients used.

We use unbleached cotton cheesecloth during our botanical straining process, so customers with known cotton allergies or sensitivities should avoid this product.

MELT WARNING
Salves, jellies, hairdressings, butters and other semi-solid products may soften or melt when exposed to warm temperatures, including during shipping.
If this product melts in transit, it may lose some of its original texture but may still be usable.
If your product arrives softened or melted, make sure the container is tightly closed and place it in a cool location or refrigerate it briefly until it firms again.
During warm weather, we recommend retrieving packages promptly rather than allowing them to remain for extended periods in a mailbox, delivery vehicle, porch or other hot environment.
