Edge Genesis Hair Oil is the more fluid alternative to our Edge Genesis Herbal Hair Jelly. It offers many of the same featured botanicals in a slow-flowing oil that’s easy to apply directly to the edges, scalp, lengths and ends with the precision applicator tip.
Its rich consistency is characteristic of castor oil, making this a great choice for customers who enjoy heavier botanical oils rather than lightweight or dry-feeling formulas.

RICH CASTOR OIL-BASED FORMULA
This is not a lightweight hair oil.
Castor oil gives Edge Genesis its characteristic thick, slow-flowing consistency. A small amount can be applied directly where desired without needing to saturate the scalp or hair.
It can be incorporated into your regular hair and scalp-care routine, applied to the edges, used sparingly on the lengths and ends, or used as a pre-shampoo oil.
PLEASE NOTE FOR LOW-POROSITY HAIR
Due to the thick and coating nature of this formula, it may feel too heavy for some low-porosity hair or hair that is easily weighed down.
If your hair generally prefers lightweight products, one of our lighter botanical oils or water-based formulas may be a better fit.
HOW TO USE
Apply a small amount directly to the desired areas of the scalp or edges using the precision applicator tip or your fingertips.
A little goes a long way, so there is no need to oversaturate the hair or scalp.
Gently massage the oil into the scalp with the pads of your fingers for approximately 2 to 3 minutes.
You may also apply a small amount to the lengths and ends of the hair and gently distribute it with your fingers, brush or comb according to your normal hair-care routine.
Use approximately 3 to 4 times per week or according to your personal hair-care routine.
Cleanse the hair and scalp regularly to help prevent excessive oil and product buildup.
AS A PRE-SHAMPOO OIL
Edge Genesis can also be used as a rich pre-shampoo oil.
Apply a small amount to the hair, concentrating particularly on the lengths and ends. Approximately a quarter-sized amount may be sufficient depending on your hair’s length and density.
Because this is a thick castor-based formula, using excessive amounts may make it more difficult to shampoo out completely.
PRODUCT SPECS
Texture: Thick, slow-flowing oil characteristic of castor oil. Some herbal sediment may be present and can add slight texture to the product.
Appearance: Medium to dark brown. Small pieces or particles of herbs and botanicals may be visible throughout the oil.
Because this is a handcrafted botanical product, natural variations in color, aroma and visible botanical material are normal.
Scent: Deeply herbaceous with aromas characteristic of Fenugreek, Ginger, Lavender and Castor Oil.
Sizes: 2 fl oz and 4 fl oz.
