A lightweight botanical hair and scalp oil featuring Amla, Bhringraj, MSM, Grapeseed and Sunflower Oils with Ginger, Rosemary and a carefully selected aromatic essential-oil blend.
Created specifically as a lighter alternative to richer Castor and Olive Oil formulas, this botanical oil is ideal for customers who prefer lightweight hair oiling or whose hair is easily weighed down by heavier oils and butters.
CREATED WITH LOW-POROSITY HAIR IN MIND
Some hair simply prefers lighter products.
Instead of a heavy Castor Oil or butter-based formula, this oil uses Sunflower and Grapeseed Oils to create a lighter botanical base.
It’s a great option if you enjoy hair oiling but find that richer products tend to leave your hair feeling overly coated, greasy or weighed down.
You don’t have to have low-porosity hair to use this formula. Hair porosity is only one factor in how an individual person’s hair responds to different oils and products.
AMLA + BHRINGRAJ + MSM
Three ingredients give this formula its distinctive identity:
Amla
Amla, also known as Indian Gooseberry, has a long history of use in Ayurvedic and traditional Indian hair-care preparations.
Bhringraj
Bhringraj is another well-known botanical associated with traditional Ayurvedic hair-care practices.
MSM
MSM, or Methylsulfonylmethane, is incorporated into this proprietary botanical formula alongside Amla, Bhringraj and our herbal oil blend.
Rather than building the formula around one ingredient, we combine these ingredients with Ginger, Cayenne and aromatic botanical oils for a distinctive multi-botanical hair and scalp oil.

ROSEMARY, GINGER + BOTANICAL OILS
The Amla, Bhringraj and MSM blend is complemented by Ginger and Cayenne along with Rosemary, Thyme, Lavender and Eucalyptus Oils.
These ingredients give the formula its naturally aromatic botanical character.
Because Cayenne and multiple essential oils are present, this is a concentrated formula and should be used sparingly.
HOW TO USE
Shake gently before use.
Apply a few drops at a time to the desired areas of the scalp.
Gently massage using the pads of your fingertips for approximately 1–3 minutes.
For the hair, warm a small amount between your palms and lightly distribute through the lengths and ends.
Start with a small amount and add more only as needed.
For pre-shampoo care, apply a small amount to the hair and/or scalp before cleansing. Allow it to remain on the hair according to your normal hair-oiling routine, then shampoo thoroughly and follow with your preferred conditioner.
A NOTE ABOUT CAYENNE
This formula contains Cayenne Pepper and may create a noticeable warming sensation for some users.
Avoid applying excessive amounts.
Keep the product completely away from the eyes, face, eyelashes and eyebrows.
If you experience uncomfortable burning, persistent irritation or other signs of sensitivity, discontinue use and thoroughly cleanse the area.
CURLS, COILS + TEXTURED HAIR
This lightweight botanical oil can be incorporated into natural, curly, coily and textured hair-care routines.
Use sparingly on the lengths and ends or incorporate a small amount into your routine for braids, twists and other protective styles.
