ROSEMARY + PEPPERMINT
This formula keeps things intentionally simple.
Rosemary and Peppermint are paired with a three-oil botanical base of:
• Olive Oil
• Argan Oil
• Jojoba Oil
Rosemary and Peppermint Essential Oils give the finished product its distinctly fresh, herbal aroma, while dried Rosemary and Peppermint botanicals complete the infusion.
OLIVE + ARGAN + JOJOBA
Olive Oil provides a rich, emollient base that’s well suited to traditional hair-oiling routines.
Argan Oil adds a silky feel and beautiful shine to the finished blend.
Jojoba Oil helps create a smooth, easy-to-distribute oil that can be used on both the hair and scalp.
Together, they create a versatile botanical oil without the heavier Castor Oil, butters or waxes found in some of our richer HERBOGEN formulas.
SOFTNESS + SHINE
Use Rosemary + Peppermint Hair Oil to condition dry-feeling hair and add softness and gloss to the lengths and ends.
Start with a few drops and add more only as needed.
The amount that works best will depend on your hair’s length, density, texture and preference for oils.
HAIR + SCALP OILING
Apply a few drops to the desired areas of the scalp and gently massage using the pads of your fingertips.
For the hair, warm a small amount between your palms and lightly distribute through the lengths and ends.
There is no need to saturate the scalp or hair.
PRE-SHAMPOO + WARM-OIL CARE
This formula can also be incorporated into a pre-shampoo or warm-oil conditioning routine.
Apply a small amount to the hair and/or scalp before cleansing.
For warm-oil use, gently warm the product using a safe indirect-warming method. Never microwave or overheat the oil.
Distribute through the hair, allow it to remain according to your usual hair-care routine, then shampoo thoroughly and follow with your preferred conditioner.
CURLS, COILS + TEXTURED HAIR
Rosemary + Peppermint Hair Oil can be incorporated into natural, curly, coily and textured hair-care routines.
Use it on the lengths and ends, for hair oiling, or sparingly as part of braid, twist and protective-style maintenance.
Fine or easily weighed-down hair may prefer only a few drops at a time.
WITH OR WITHOUT A ROSEMARY SPRIG
