HIBISCUS-FOCUSED BOTANICAL HAIR CARE
Hibiscus Rosa-Sinensis is the centerpiece of this formula.
Hibiscus has a long history of use in traditional Indian and Ayurvedic beauty and hair-care preparations.
Rather than combining it with a long list of unrelated botanicals, this formula keeps the focus specifically on Hibiscus with a simple Fractionated Coconut Oil base.

REGULAR
Our standard Hibiscus infusion for customers who prefer a straightforward botanical hair oil.
SUPER CONCENTRATED
Made with approximately twice the Hibiscus concentration of our Regular formula for customers who prefer a more concentrated botanical infusion.
Both versions have the same basic intended use. The difference is the concentration of Hibiscus in the formula, not a promise of different hair-growth results.
LIGHTWEIGHT FRACTIONATED COCONUT OIL BASE
Unlike traditional solid Coconut Oil, Fractionated Coconut Oil remains liquid at normal room temperatures and gives this formula a smooth, lightweight feel.
This makes the oil easy to distribute through the hair without the waxes, butters or heavier Castor Oil base found in some of our richer HERBOGEN formulas.
SOFT, SMOOTH + GLOSSY HAIR
Use Ayurvedic Hibiscus Hair Oil as part of your regular hair-care routine to condition the hair and add softness, smoothness and shine.
Apply a small amount to the lengths and ends as desired.
Because botanical oils can feel different depending on hair texture, density and individual preference, start with a small amount and add more only as needed.
HAIR + SCALP OILING
Apply a few drops at a time to the desired areas of the scalp.
Gently massage using the pads of your fingertips.
For the hair, warm a small amount between your palms and lightly distribute through the lengths and ends.
There is no need to saturate the hair or scalp.
PRE-SHAMPOO CARE
This formula can also be incorporated into a pre-shampoo hair-oiling routine.
Apply a small amount to the hair and/or scalp before cleansing.
Distribute through the lengths and ends as desired, allow it to remain according to your normal hair-care routine, then shampoo thoroughly and follow with your preferred conditioner.
CURLS, COILS + TEXTURED HAIR
Ayurvedic Hibiscus Hair Oil can be incorporated into natural, curly, coily and textured hair-care routines.
Use it for hair oiling, on dry-feeling lengths and ends, or sparingly as part of braid, twist and protective-style maintenance.
WHY ISN’T MY HIBISCUS OIL BRIGHT RED?
Hibiscus flowers and powders can range in color, and the appearance of an infused finished oil will not necessarily match the vivid color associated with Hibiscus flowers.
Our finished Hibiscus oil is typically translucent pinkish-yellow to golden in appearance.
Natural variations may occur between batches.
Fine Hibiscus sediment may also settle toward the bottom of the bottle over time. This is a normal characteristic of a botanical infusion.
Gently shake the bottle before use if settling occurs.
