Potion 33 is an ultra-concentrated herbal hair and scalp oil handcrafted with a broad infusion of botanicals, botanical oils and aromatic essential oils. The formula combines traditional hair-care favorites including Amla, Fenugreek, Horsetail, Burdock Root, Stinging Nettle, Rosemary, Ginger, Clove and more in a rich base of Castor Oil, Olive Oil and Shea Butter.
Designed for customers who love intensive botanical hair oiling, Potion 33 can be incorporated into scalp-care routines, pre-shampoo treatments, protective styling and regular care of the hair’s lengths and ends.

Amla

15-ESSENTIAL-OIL BLEND
Potion 33 also incorporates our proprietary aromatic blend featuring essential oils including Peppermint, Rosemary, Lavender, Eucalyptus, Geranium, Cypress, Cinnamon, Juniper Berry, Sandalwood, Spike Lavender, Frankincense, Neroli, Ylang Ylang, Yarrow and Palmarosa.
The result is a distinctive herbal formula with a naturally complex botanical aroma.
RICH CASTOR + OLIVE OIL BASE
Potion 33 has a medium-weight consistency with Castor Oil providing richness and Olive Oil providing additional emollience and conditioning.
Shea Butter is also incorporated into the formula.
This is intentionally a concentrated botanical oil rather than an ultra-lightweight dry oil. If you prefer a lighter consistency, the oil may be blended with plain Olive or Grapeseed Oil before application.
HOW TO USE
Apply a small amount to the desired areas of the scalp and gently massage with the pads of your fingertips.
There is no need to saturate the scalp. Because Potion 33 is concentrated, begin with a small amount and add more only as needed.
It may also be applied sparingly to the lengths and ends of the hair for additional conditioning.
Use according to your individual hair-care routine and cleanse the hair and scalp regularly to prevent excessive product buildup.
PRE-SHAMPOO HAIR OILING
Potion 33 can also be used before shampooing.
Apply a small amount to the scalp and/or distribute through the hair, concentrating on dry-feeling lengths and ends if desired.
Allow the oil to remain on the hair according to your normal pre-shampoo routine, then shampoo thoroughly.
CURLS, COILS & TEXTURED HAIR
The rich botanical formula can be incorporated into curly, coily and textured hair-care routines as well as braids, twists and other protective styles.
Because Castor Oil and Shea Butter give Potion 33 a richer consistency, customers whose hair is easily weighed down by heavier products should begin with a very small amount.
BOTANICALS IN YOUR BOTTLE
You may notice small pieces of botanical material in your bottle.
We intentionally do not completely filter every botanical particle from the finished oil. The exact amount of visible botanical material will naturally vary from bottle to bottle, and some bottles may contain very little or none.
If you prefer your oil without visible botanical pieces, please request additional filtering when placing your order.
