HORSETAIL
Equisetum arvense, commonly known as Horsetail, is a traditional botanical frequently incorporated into herbal hair and beauty preparations.
STINGING NETTLE
Urtica dioica, commonly known as Stinging Nettle, is another traditional herb commonly found in botanical hair and scalp-care products.
Together, they give this elixir its naturally earthy color, herbaceous aroma and simple botanical identity.
LIGHTWEIGHT, WATER-BASED SCALP CARE
If you enjoy botanical scalp products but don’t always want the weight of an oil, this formula provides an alternative.
The water-based consistency makes it easy to apply directly between sections of the hair and around braids, twists and other protective styles without coating the hair in a heavy oil.
It can also be used as part of natural, curly, coily and textured hair-care routines.
HOW TO USE
Shake before use.
Part the hair as needed and lightly spritz directly onto the desired areas of the scalp.
Gently massage with the pads of your fingertips for approximately 1–3 minutes.
A small amount is sufficient. Approximately 6–8 sprays can be distributed throughout the scalp depending on your hair density and application preferences.
The product may remain on the scalp between wash days or be rinsed out according to your normal hair-care routine.
For best product hygiene and to minimize buildup, cleanse your hair and scalp regularly.
PROTECTIVE STYLE CARE
The spray applicator makes this elixir especially convenient for use with braids, twists and other protective styles.
Simply part or separate the hair as needed, lightly mist the scalp and massage gently with your fingertips.
Avoid oversaturating the hair or scalp.

Purified Water, Equisetum Arvense (Horsetail), Urtica Dioica (Stinging Nettle) Leaf, Phenoxyethanol (and) Caprylyl Glycol (and) Sorbic Acid.
WHY DOES IT CONTAIN A PRESERVATIVE?
Because this is a water-based botanical product, an appropriate preservative system is necessary to maintain the formula during normal storage and use.
Our formula uses Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol and Sorbic Acid as its preservative system.
This preservative system is paraben-free and formaldehyde-donor-free.
