WHY A LIGHTWEIGHT HAIR OIL?
Low-porosity hair can be particularly prone to feeling coated or weighed down when too much heavy oil or butter is applied.
These formulas were created as a lighter alternative to our richer Castor Oil, Coconut Oil, Shea Butter and hair-jelly products.

DRY HAIR FORMULA
A lightweight blend of Grapeseed, Jojoba and Argan Oils paired with an aromatic essential-oil blend.
This formula has a softer, sweeter botanical aroma and is a great choice for customers looking for a simple lightweight oil for regular hair care.
Ingredients: Grapeseed Oil, Jojoba Seed Oil, Argan Oil, Lavender Oil, Sandalwood Oil, Frankincense Oil, Neroli Oil, Ylang Ylang Oil, Palmarosa Oil, Geranium Oil and Yarrow Oil.
ROSEMARY BOTANICAL FORMULA
Previously called our Growth Booster Formula.
This lightweight blend combines Grapeseed, Jojoba and Argan Oils with Rosemary and an aromatic botanical essential-oil blend.
It has a greener, more distinctly herbal aroma than the Dry Hair Formula and is a good choice for customers who especially enjoy rosemary-based hair care.
Ingredients: Grapeseed Oil, Jojoba Seed Oil, Argan Oil, Rosemary Oil, Geranium Oil, Cypress Oil, Cinnamon Oil and Juniper Berry Oil.
FORTIFYING BOTANICAL FORMULA
A lightweight botanical blend featuring Grapeseed, Jojoba and Argan Oils with Palmarosa, Rosemary, Sweet Birch and Clary Sage Essential Oils.
This formula offers another aromatic botanical option for customers who prefer a simple oil-based hair-care routine.
Ingredients: Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Argania Spinosa (Argan) Oil, Cymbopogon Martini (Palmarosa) Oil, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Oil, Methyl Salicylate (Sweet Birch) Oil and Salvia Sclarea (Clary Sage) Oil.
10-HERB AYURVEDIC FORMULA
Our most botanical-rich option, inspired by traditional Ayurvedic hair-care preparations.
This formula differs from the other three and does not contain Argan or Jojoba Oil. Instead, Grapeseed Oil is combined with Aloe and a 10-herb Ayurvedic blend featuring Amla, Aritha, Bhringraj, Brahmi, Cassia, Hibiscus, Licorice, Lotus, Shikakai and Tulsi.
Choose this version if you’re especially interested in traditional Indian botanical ingredients while still wanting an oil designed with low-porosity hair in mind.
Ingredients: Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe) Leaf Juice, Phyllanthus Emblica (Amla), Sapindus Laurifolia (Aritha) Fruit Powder, Eclipta Alba (Bhringraj) Powder, Bacopa Monnieri (Brahmi) Powder, Cassia Obovata Leaf Powder, Hibiscus Rosa-Sinensis Petal Powder, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Powder, Nelumbo Nucifera (Lotus) Powder, Acacia Concinna (Shikakai) Nut Powder, Ocimum Sanctum (Tulsi) Leaf Powder and Pogostemon Cablin (Patchouli) Oil.
PLEASE NOTE: The Ayurvedic Formula does not contain Jojoba or Argan Oil.
HOW TO USE
Apply a small amount to the scalp and gently massage with the pads of your fingertips.
For the hair, dispense a few drops into your palms, rub hands together and lightly smooth over the lengths and ends.
Because low-porosity hair can become weighed down by excessive product, begin with a very small amount. More can always be added if needed.
The oil may be left in according to your usual hair-care routine or shampooed out during your next wash.
PRE-SHAMPOO HAIR OILING
Apply sparingly to the scalp and/or lengths before shampooing.
Allow the oil to remain on the hair according to your usual pre-shampoo routine, then cleanse and condition as desired.
BRAIDS, TWISTS & PROTECTIVE STYLES
These lightweight oils can also be used sparingly as part of protective-style maintenance.
Apply directly to the desired areas of the scalp or smooth a very small amount over the hair as needed.
SPRAY ATTACHMENT OPTION
A spray attachment is available for easier application.
Because this product is an oil rather than a water-based mist, the spray produces more of a light spritz or stream rather than an aerosol-like fine mist.

Scent: Varies according to formula. The Rosemary formula has the strongest green/herbal character, while the Dry Hair formula has a softer aromatic profile. The Ayurvedic formula has a light Patchouli aroma.
The Ayurvedic formula may be requested without added Patchouli by leaving a note with your order. Please be aware that the unscented botanical oil has its own naturally earthy aroma.
