WHY FERMENTED RICE WATER?
Rice water has a long history of use in traditional Asian beauty and hair-care practices. Our version offers a convenient way to incorporate fermented rice water into your routine without having to prepare and preserve homemade rice water yourself.
Because this is a professionally preserved, water-based formula, it also avoids the very short usable life associated with homemade rice-and-water preparations.
HOW TO USE
Shake well before use.
Spray onto clean, freshly washed hair and distribute throughout the hair and scalp.
Gently massage the scalp using the pads of your fingertips.
Cover the hair with a plastic cap for approximately 10 minutes.
Rinse the rice water thoroughly from the hair and scalp, then condition and/or style as desired.
Recommended use: Approximately once per week.
This product is formulated as a rinse-out rice water treatment, not a leave-in conditioner.
PROTEIN-SENSITIVE HAIR
Rice-based hair products may not be a good match for every hair type or routine.
If your hair tends to become stiff, rough or dry-feeling when using protein-rich or rice-based products, use this product less frequently or discontinue use.
We recommend beginning conservatively and adjusting frequency according to how your individual hair responds.

WHY DOES IT CONTAIN A PRESERVATIVE?
Because this is a water-based botanical product, an appropriate preservative system is necessary to maintain the formula during its intended shelf life.
Our formula uses Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol and Sorbic Acid as its preservative system.
PRODUCT SPECS
Consistency: Lightweight, water-based liquid.
Appearance: Translucent and slightly milky, ranging from off-white to light brown depending on the selected formula and natural botanical variation. The color may become somewhat darker over time.
Scent: Naturally slightly sour due to the fermented rice, with a mildly herbal character in the Herbal Deluxe Formula.
Size: 4 fl oz.

Shelf Life: For best quality, use within approximately 6 months of receiving the product.
